MedicAlert Gold includes ALL of the benefits of Advantage membership plus the following:
• You can store and access digital copies of your medical and personal records in a single secure location 24 hours a day. By consolidating and organizing your medical records you will have a more detailed knowledge of your own health information, allowing you to have greater control over your own care.
• You can collect your vital medical records from healthcare providers with a personal fax number (Document Center number) that converts faxed documents into digital files. Your Document Center number also serves as a voicemail message system, allowing you to receive confidential messages from your physicians and store them electronically.
How MedicAlert Gold Works:
1. You are assigned a unique Document Center number (DC#) that can receive faxes and voice messages.
2. You or your physician fax important medical or personal documents to your DC#.
3. The document is converted into a PDF, easily viewable through your web browser, and routed to your personal Document Center.
4. An email notification is sent, informing you that a document was received in your MedicAlert Gold account.
5. You log into your MedicAlert Gold account to view your new document and file it into any of your 16 customizable folders.
