Central Valley Author Discussed Natural Alternatives to Healing and Wellness at MedicAlert Foundation

TURLOCK , CA -- Elodia Tate, a Modesto resident and the co-author of Open My Eyes, Open My Soul, presented a seminar on natural alternatives to health and wellness at MedicAlert Foundation last Thursday.
    
Tate overcame lupus/SLE in a matter of weeks by taking a natural approach to health through nutrition, herbs, supplements and other forms of healing. She has inspired thousands of people to sample her approach to wellness.

"Our health is our own responsibility," said Tate. "There are infinite paths to wellness, and I encourage people to take action of their health by making small lifestyle changes."
    
Tate has recently come back from her book signing tour with co-author Yolanda King, the eldest daughter Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. The book is a compilation of multicultural, diverse stories with contributions from Muhammad Ali, Maya Angelou, Margaret Cho, Robert Kennedy Jr., and Stevie Wonder.
